Gene and his daughter were wonderful. Our grass was several feet high (I think) which is why there were apparently some tracks left. His daughter edged and weed trimmed around the fence and house and did an absolutely great job. I had also asked Gene if he could help me move a foam mattress upstairs to our loft and he and his daughter did so with no problem. They did over and beyond expectations. I will use them again.

Questions & Answers

We understand that your property is a big investment and we want our customers to know that we are there for them to help them accomplish the dreams that they have for their property.

  1. Save Time – The number one reason to hire a lawn service this spring is it saves you time. As a homeowner, you have to dedicate several hours a week at minimum to lawn maintenance. This is time you could be spending with your family, pursuing a hobby or just not doing yard work.
  2. Costs Less – Even though lawn care services cost money, it is actually cheaper than doing it yourself. For example, many homeowners do not consider how much their time is worth. Add that plus all the costs associated with equipment and you are in the red each year with your lawn care.
  3. Professional Results – Professional lawn care and maintenance services go far beyond your ability in most cases. This is what lawn care companies do. They have years of experience and maintain yards day in and day out. Skills like identifying turf issues early and knowing how best to enhance your lawn are far above the general homeowner’s skill set.
  4. Safety and Liability Concerns – Lawn mowing can be dangerous. You might think, well how dangerous can a push mower be? Well, mowers can throw objects that hit houses, cars or people. Also, maintenance of equipment can expose you to dangers such as machines falling or oils and other chemicals spilling. Most lawn care service companies have insurance to cover any damage issues and take on all the safety risks with mowing and servicing equipment.

From lawn mowing to fertilizing, maintaining a healthy lawn and garden isn’t an easy job for homeowners, especially since basic lawn maintenance requires. seasonal care. That’s exactly why many homeowners decide to hire a professional lawn care service. But it’s not always a straightforward decision.

The general rule is to never cut more than 1/3 of the total height. This is another reason why optimal height is important. After the rapid spring growth, cutting to 3 inches sets the president for the duration of the season. When the spring growth has slowed and the first mow is complete, weekly mowing will be suitable.

You should only water your lawn in periods of drought. If your lawn needs watering you will notice the blades fold in half in an attempt to save water. At this point footprints will remain visible after stepping on the lawn. If your lawn is showing these signs, water deeply one or two times a week to a maximum of one inch. Approximately 15-30 minutes of watering time. A rain gauge can help ensure the proper amount is given. The best time to water is in the early morning between 6:00-10:00 am, as wet grass in the hot afternoon sun can burn. Early morning water allows excess water to evaporate and prevents mildew and fungus growth.
